NYCC Open Webinar for Developmental Language Disorder Day

The speech, language and communication needs team at NYCC are offering a free webinar to raise awareness about Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) on 15.10.21 at 11am.

DLD is a significant difficulty learning, understanding, and using spoken language. Up to 1 in 14 children may have DLD, which is two in the average sized class. Please join us on DLD day to develop your own understanding of DLD. This session is open to anyone with an interest in DLD.

The webinar will give an overview about DLD and strategies to support Children and Young People who may have DLD.
