'Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools' PINS Programme

Join us at the Community Centre, Harrogate - gain an insight into EHCP's and Neurodiversity Support!

This is a fantastic SEND information event you wont want to miss!

Time: 09.15am - 2.30pm (a light lunch will be provided)

Location: Community Centre, Harrogate

SENDIASS North Yorkshire - This training session hopes to improve your understanding of the EHCP process and specific elements of it:

  • what should an EHCP look like

  • the professional reports,

  • what to do when you receive a draft plan,

  • what is meant by specificity,

  • what does SMART mean,

There will also be an opportunity for Q&A with the SENDIASS Team, please note individual cases cannot be discussed.

Understanding Overwhelm, Meltdown and Shutdown

In this session, we will be exploring how stress and anxiety can impact neurodiverse people.

We will also look at burnout, meltdowns and shutdowns and outline some practical ideas to help you and the neurodiverse person you support.

Now get ready to dive into the Importance of Play!

This workshop gives an introduction to why play is important and provides tips and ideas for play with your child.

There will also be an opportunity for Q&A, including talking about individual scenarios and brainstorming with our SEND experienced presenter, Meg.

We understand arriving at 9.15am can be challenging with some school runs, we are more than happy for you to arrive slightly later, we really appreciate you joining us!
